My name is David (or Dave) Broughton and although I’ve created websites using direct PHP code, I’ve not been attracted to content management systems, having tried them in my early days of web development.   I’ve never tried WordPress, however, so I thought I’d give it a try as it was possible to install it using the CPanel of my hosting service.
